Friday, 19 September 2025 – Darussalam Pilotage Services Sdn Bhd (DPS) successfully organised its Marine Safety Awareness Day at the DPS Training Centre in Serasa as part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

The event was attended by 35 participants, comprising representatives from the maritime community, industry stakeholders, and invited guests, all brought together with a shared commitment to enhancing safety at sea.

The programme was designed to raise awareness on the critical importance of marine safety and to promote responsible practices among those involved in maritime activities.

Through a series of informative sessions and practical discussions, participants were introduced to key safety principles, including risk awareness, emergency preparedness, and adherence to established maritime regulations and procedures.

The sessions also highlighted the importance of communication, coordination, and compliance in ensuring safe and efficient maritime operations.
