The training course was attended by participants seeking to obtain a Class 9 (Restricted) license, equipping them with the fundamental knowledge and practical understanding required for the safe and responsible operation of outboard-powered vessels.

Conducted over five days, the programme provided a structured learning environment aimed at enhancing participants’ technical competency, navigational awareness, and understanding of marine safety procedures.

The programme also emphasised the importance of safety awareness, proper maintenance practices, and adherence to maritime regulations to minimise risks and promote responsible boating practices. Participants were encouraged to develop a strong understanding of their roles and responsibilities as boat operators, particularly in maintaining the safety of passengers, vessels, and the marine environment.
