DPS Sdn Bhd marked a significant milestone by commemorating the signing of its Public License Agreement (PLA) with the Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD). This event took place on the 1st of December 2019 at our previous office within the Maritime Port Company (MPC). 

This agreement opens a new growth opportunity for DPS Sdn Bhd to swiftly expand our service portfolio. By February 2020, our offerings included West and East Towage services, followed by assuming responsibilities for the Single Point Mooring (SPM) area by April 2020. 

DPS Sdn Bhd was represented by Captain (Ret) Zil Husam bin Abdul Rahman, our General Manager. Acting Chief Executive Captain Abdul Mateen bin Abdurrahman Liew, known as Martin, represented MPABD. 

The event was attended by senior officials, management, and staff members from both MPABD and DPS. 

This agreement is expected to catalyse growth in the maritime industry in the region, making a significant contribution to the overall economic development of Brunei Darussalam.
